A twist on, Lewis Carroll’s, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, these paintings are a Malaysian-inspired re-imagining of the classic fairytale, intended for a children’s picture book. From the food to the clothing of the characters, the paintings are filled with Malaysian culture. Inspired by Malaysian Batik and Wayang Kulit, these two paintings feature colorful patterned backgrounds and geometric characters.
